“Surname” is an installation that emerged from the search for my relatives disconnected through adoption. It includes a video projection on linen, two photographic pieces, three chairs, and red curtains. The photographs are from a large format, black and white, family album that I have been working on for eight years. I am photographing the longing to know someone.
