The video starts in the Israeli parliament, where we hear left wing politician Mossi Raz directing the assembly as if it were a staged production. The next scene has Raz seated in front of the camera, uncomfortable, reading out an art manifesto and declaring himself a performance artist. This awkward situation is also reminiscent of a hostage tape. In the work I incorporate theatrical elements in order to overlap and create friction between the political and the artistic.
